SPECIAL NOTE: This procedure applies only to wing main spars shipped on or after February 23, 1973. At that time a change was made to manufacturing procedures to change the spar tolerances.
Prior to February 23, a few wing spars may have been shipped that are large enough to cause a loose fit. A special fitting procedure will be issued for these spars.
