BD Plans Change Notice: PCN 5-12

NOTED: RUDDER HINGE REINFORCEMENT AND MISCELLANEOUS CHANGES
FOR NEW INSTALLATIONS
1. Fabricate one VS13 doubler from .032" 2024T3 sheet. Be sure all edges are smooth.
2. Insert VS13 inside of VS2 spar and slide upward until VS13 fits tightly. The excess material extending above VS2 may be left on and trimmed later when VS2 is trimmed.
3. Make sure that VS13 overlaps VS2 at least 4.50" and is a snug fit.
4. Make sure VS13 stays in place while the VS6 rib and VS3 skin are fitted in place. Pilot drill through VS13 while drilling holes ...
