PBS TJ-100B fuel filter and fuel cutoff valve which comes with the engine from PBS. Also is a pic from a SubSonex builder utilizing the PBS TJ-100 showing the fuel feed (right to left) with the filter, cutoff valve and an FT60 (red cube) flow transducer just before it enters the turbine mounted fuel pump.

This is the basic layout of the fuel system I will be using for my BD-5J, N235ER. Here are a few pics of header tanks, not sure who owns them, but you get the idea. So far I have 18G per 17′ wing along with 15G in the header tank for 51G total fuel, majority of which is useable. I will add pics and parts as I progress.

Ben, I do believe they can be ordered from PBS. It has an actual part number in my PBS TJ-100B Operation and Maintenance Manual p/n470135.05, Output Nozzle BD.

I’ve personally met Aaron and his wife Janet and can attest to the build quality and workmanship of his BD-5.

My wife Holly and I used to hang out with Aaron and Janet anytime we were in the same place for events happening.

Aaron and Janet are honest and caring and I call them my friends.
